A lot of money, by local standards. How is $100 million for round numbers? Sure, that money could make more money faster in California, or even closer to home in Portland. But there’s something about the Ducks, and the memories that wash over him whenever he comes to Eugene. He knows it’s not necessarily the single best use for his money, but he has to follow his heart.
