I chose the first one, partly because I could use a line I’ve used for years about three Eugenes on Saturday washing either their car, their truck or themselves. But also because one of you said to me: “Don’t forget to say how much you love Eugene.” Of the four, it seemed to express that best. (Because nobody’s favorite part of “show and tell” was “tell.”)
As I began assembling this, it occurred to me for the first time that old Eugene is all 97401, 03 and 05. New Eugene is 97402, 04 and 08. So it really is the evens and the odds! Strange.
